Solway Basketball is affiliated with the Waverley Basketball Association Junior Domestic Competition, and as WBA is an affiliated Association with Basketball Victoria, the policies of Basketball Victoria apply to all WBA competitions and their associated Clubs.

 From January 1, 2017, Victorian organisations that provide services to children will be required under the Child Safety and Wellbeing Act to ensure that they implement compulsory child safe standards to protect children from harm.

Child Safe Resources
The child safe standards require organisations that provide services for children to have processes for responding to and reporting suspected child abuse.
